Tottenham star Emerson Royal joins AC Milan in open transfer

Royal played a minor role under Ange Postkoglu last season, making only 11 appearances in the starting lineup.

AC Milan are keen to bring him to the San Siro in a bid to add a full-back to their squad in the upcoming transfer window.

Contact has been made between the player camp and AC Milan, and according to Spanish media Relevo, Real are open to a move to San Siro.

The defender wants to play regular football and sees a move to the Rossoneri as a good opportunity.

However, an agreement is still some way off as negotiations between the two clubs have yet to make progress.

Tottenham want a transfer fee of around €30 million, but AC Milan are currently unwilling to spend that much on Real this summer.
