There are now a number of buyers lining up to take over the Toffees after a bid by 777 Partners failed to take over the club.

On the pitch, coach Sean Dyche continues to plan for next season as he hopes Everton will finish high in the Premier League.

The Toffees could cash in on Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the coming months but they are looking to add a striker and have settled on Chelsea’s Armando Broja.

Negotiations are ongoing with Chelsea in a bid to strike a deal, with a £30m package discussed.

Everton are hoping for a quick breakthrough in negotiations and are in “daily contact” with Chelsea to seal a deal.

Broha has admirers elsewhere but as Everton push forward they will look to take the initiative in the game.

Chelsea are under pressure to sell players before the end of the month as they seek to comply with PSR rules.

Everton are also under PSR pressure, with Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana both linked with exits from Goodison Park.
